I feel significantly less special now.
Nope, you ordered a Badlands. By default your wait will be longer (think special) because of more items with limited availability. Same for the full size. If I wanted a Big Bend moredoor, softtop, 2.3, AT, and no options, I could get in 3-4 months. But noooooo, I want a 2 Door Badlands with all the goodies so it’s end of the line for you (me).

I guess I was a lucky May tow pkg build... 5/23
You & me both! I didnā€˜t think to ask sales dude what the other customer ordered for a BS that was held up. I wonder if she had the same options/constraints I did. Either way, glad to be one of the May builds now. I can only guess what few tow package materials are available they’re prioritizing the longest waited builds.

We ordered an OB 01/10 with tech and tow, no 360+, built 03/03 it’ll be here first week of April.
thanks for the info...

Just talked to the dealer again, they said I'm "priority 2" and recommended to hold tight and not change order (like removing the tow hitch).

not sure if Priority 2 really mean as far as how close I am to be scheduled but I will give it another few weeks..

Priority 02 is set by the zone manager or regional scheduler...should mean your rig gets dibs on parts next available week.

You should be scheduled next round. When I got told I was priority 2 on a Monday, I got the production email that Thursday. My order went in as a priority 15 and I waited over two months to get scheduled because I want all the goodies. Good luck.

I've been at an 02 priority since mid January, still no date. Hard to make sense of it all.

Hey all- new here! Here's my situation- bought a 22 Hot Pepper Red BS BB off the lot a couple weeks ago (love it so far). We are really in need of an additional vehicle for the family (traded a vehicle in for the BB), while we were purchasing the BB the dealer let us know they had a BL on their regular dealer inventory order and said it was ours if we wanted to put a deposit on it- lo and behold I went back the next day and put a deposit down. The new BL is Oxford White, premium package w/ moonroof (no tow). Dealer let me take a photo of their DORA form (Dealer Order Receipt Form)- that shows they ordered it on 11/11/21- per the dealer, it was apparently originally scheduled for production the week of 4/11/22 but they said it had been pushed back to 5/2. Anyway- I see the ford order tracking site doesn't post any actual dates will I just need to get further updates from the dealer? I'm assuming I won't get any update emails direct from ford since it was a dealer order...

.. the Tow Package is the real holdup on a lot of orders …
I am so screwed. I have a hold because they don’t have a chip for my towing hardware.

(That was a joke… but perhaps not. I wonder if the wiring harness for the Towing Package needs a chip? Hmm)

I think it is a chip because of the ā€œanti-swayā€ feature of the tow package.

After being told to wait another month for my ā€œin transitā€ Badlands, I did the full blown exercise. Spent two hours searching for and finding 3 ā€œJust Arrivedā€ Badlands on ford.com within 200 miles and chased them down. Lost 2 by someone else buying 12 hours earlier. The Chicago one is still there. Fully loaded. sales manager generously offered to knock the market adjustment from $5500 to only $5000, and no we won’t ship it to you.

At the last dealer, after telling me they had just sold the badlands they received the night before a kind salesman walked me out to cry on the side of a $31,000 base model. I couldn’t see the interior because of a giant $5,000 market adjustment sticker.

The Waiting Room is my therapy. Thank you all.

I am standing in the dealership this morning where a glum lady, right out of the Simpsons DMV, is explaining the ins and outs of tracking. This is all she does. Looks up visibility reports and handles the porters (arrivals and departures of vehicles).

I kid you not.. Here are two zingers:

ā€œThat Badlands you just missed? It arrived yesterday. VVR says still on the train.ā€
"They just show up sometimesā€

and the best.. (only heard here in the Waiting Room..)

ā€œI shouldn’t probably share this but the driver yesterday showed me a phone video of derailed transport rail cars in KC last weekā€.

Hopefully they got the chips out alive.
