I emailed them but haven't heard back yet, also talked to the Ford Twitter folks to see if there was anyone on their end that could see it and just say "hey yeah we got it" or whatever. Trying to not be anxious about it all, but this is my first time ordering vs picking off the lot so have no experience doing it this way.

Well just a note that I managed to get in touch with my salesperson via text (probably more direct than email), they said the order was all good to go and confirmed - now fingers crossed that's all accurate!

Ask for a copy of the DORA. That is the electronic document Ford sends to your dealer with all the details of your order. That will confirm accuracy. Make sure you get your order code. When you are finally issued a production week you will get a VIN and that is when you can log into the tracker for the first time. Be sure you have a Retail Order and Invoice from your dealer and not just a preview order. This prevents them from doing any surprise upcharging on you.

Well, poop... Just got the email that my Badlands production got bumped another week, now building the week of 12/20.

I was scheduled for this week for the actual build and even had my in production notice and sticker generate last Friday, but I am starting to doubt that it will be done by tomorrow.

My guess, since tomorrow is Friday and there is no date under the in production marker on my tracker, that mine wont be built till the beginning of next week….hopefully.

Usually it goes into actual production 7 days after window sticker generated. So should be tomorrow if it follows the typical pattern.

I wasn't going to take it but I would've liked to have seen it. Oh well. Frankly I'm happier with my '22 build anyway.

I don't think that order even had my name on it actually. Regardless, it seems like they sold it because the tracking doesn't work anymore and I haven't seen it at the dealer.

How long has it taken folks to get a confirmation email on the order from Ford? Placed the order 11/29, dealership said I should see an email from them soon, but nothing. Assuming once you get the email, the order also shows up under My Account on the Ford site? I've seen various posts that some folks never received the email at all, system is finicky, etc. etc. Just always concerned about the horror story of the dealership never actually submitting the order and only finding it way down the road.

I am also parked in the waiting room. We ordered a BL on 10/28. We received our confirmation the next day, but we haven’t heard a peep since then. So happy for those who are making progress.
Are there any 2022’s on the road yet?

Nobody form this forum that I know of. The first ones are shipping to arrive the end of the month.

Mine was built Friday (ECUs were checked) so I am thinking mine will come first or second week of January. Ordered on 9/10
