Don't blame you. Production and delivery for Bronco Sport sketchy at best at this point. Resale on the Jap brands is outstanding they really stand out in that regard. Sure you get great trade in if your Badlands ever shows up. And if you make a trade in couple years the Rav will do great value wise.

That's it for my short-to-mid term BS dream - picked my RAV4 earlier today.

Speaking of my existing BS order. Assuming I don't pick it up, I'd really hate having the dealer to turn around and post it for many thousands over MSRP. And I'm not sure I'd wanna the hustle of buying it to sell it for profit (these things go sideways sometimes). Is there any way for me to just have someone take over my reservation w/o dealer sticking them with over MSRP tag? I wouldn't want anything for it other than my deposit back.

I'd say hold on to the deposit and find someone, in this forum or in your area and just wait for the dealer to reach out to you. Tell the dealer your friend is going and is interested in the car. Catch them off guard.

Anyone waiting with a July build week date receive any email from Ford this week for a build week change into August? As of now, I am still holding at July 26th...but I am uneasy as I expect yet another change any day now.

I still have a July 12 build week date, every day I wait for an email from Ford telling me the date has been moved. i have the window sticker and an "in progress" status but nothing else. The dealers visability report shows the same thing .

Well, it looks like i'm getting close to my build week (12 Jul) and I did not get a change email yet.
One can hope.

I just called Ford Marketing to get an update on the production status of the BL that I ordered on 3/18/21 (BL Pkg, Area 51, Gray Roof, 360+, Tow Pkg, CMS, Falken 235 ATs).
She said it has been built as of 6/17 but its waiting on microchips and their system shows an estimated delivery date 10/25 to 10/31.

I am not in a rush to get a new car so I will have to wait and see how long it actually takes to get to car to the dealership and when it arrives, I will inspect it very closely for wear and tear due to sun and heat exposure of the Sonoran desert.
I don't want a car with the paint and black plastic body parts already faded when it arrives at the dealership as a supposedly "new" car.
I park my cars in the garage at home to keep them out of the elements when not being driven to keep them in good shape and last a long time.

I just checked the Window Sticker and the date at the bottom changed to today's date 7/02.... I guess the guys at the factory moved the car so that it gets even sun on all sides so the "paint fading" will be equal on all sides...LoL

We have almost the same build minus the gray roof (I didn’t like how it looked on the Alto Blue) but it will look nice on your Area 51. I ordered on 3/13 and am also getting an ETA of 10/31 with a build date of 6/22. Today the bottom number of my window sticker changed to Today’s date from a 6/22 date and I’m trying to figure out if this means anything at all. I am with you though, I really hope that the cars sitting out there for months don’t come all messed up.

I just checked Ed Butts dealership's website and it looks like the Cactus Green BL was sold. Website only has the Alto Blue BL + BL Pkg and the Silver BB.
The 2 BLs have Green window stickers and says "SPECIAL ORDER"....which probably are Customer orders where the Customers backed out. Mine is also a Green window sticker and says "SPECIAL ORDER".
And it looks like they are selling it at MSRP without a dealer markup. These 2 cars will probably sell fast.

They are a pretty cool about not marking up, picked up my base here no markup as well and the guy said that they would rather have returning customers then price gouge people
