Agreed. Employers are begging for workers. My son and daughter are getting pretty tired of an employee of theirs that is having trouble showing up for work but they are loath to fire the person because it's so damn hard to find help.Took the word out of my mouth, globalized supply chains were established by economics.
Many companies chose to outsource or offshore their operations based on cost.
But it certainly doesn't help when your government incentivizes the domestic labor-force to not work.
By the way, my BB is built and on the way to the dealer. And low and behold, the dealers website has my (correct VIN) vehicle on their website for sale. Hmm. Oh, the vehicle isn't delivered (per the tracker) yet and I talked to the sales guy the day before it showed up on the website. I explained that once the vehicle arrives he is to call me with the exact amount I have to have on the cashiers check when I show up to buy the vehicle. I think I left him with no doubt that I want the vehicle.
We shall see.
