My BS-OB, according to my dealer, has arrived via CSX to somewhere in Indiana, waiting to be unloaded from the rail car. I'm in Michigan, and it's not scheduled to be here until September 16. Seems like a long time to get from Indiana to Michigan. Does anyone know what the process is for moving these cars?

Not complaining mind you, I'm just happy to know it's on the way.

Anyone know what a window sticker number is / does / can provide me. The window sticker is still unavailable and there’s no updates on Etis, however, a window sticker number has been listed on the unofficial tracker for the past few days. I’m wondering if that means the sticker is in the process of being generated?
That number is there but it doesn’t mean your sticker is ready to view. I had numbers assigned since my BS was listed in the tracker. My window sticker didn’t show until a few days before my build.

Does anybody remember seeing a post from a guy that works at the plant? I wonder if he has any information about when the vehicles with missing chips will be finished. He might know more than the dealerships, Ford marketing, etc., since he works at the plant. I can't find his previous post.

According to a Ford Senior Regional Manager, they are not going to be installing chips anytime soon. Mine has been sitting since 6/10. I bought a new Tacoma instead of waiting.

I AM OFFICALLY OUT OF THE WAITING ROOM.
I picked up my new ride on 8/25. My original 2/15 order is still sitting in the desert with a fuel mod recall and a missing chip. This BS BL+BL was ordered on 11/2020 and the customer walked away. It's got everything I ordered except for the 360 co-pilot. I can live without it. I had the fender flares, mud flaps, and KMC KM721 Alpine wheels with the Falcon Wildpeak 245/65/R17 tires installed as I was signing the paperwork. It's got 54 miles and I think this car is fucking awesome! The wait is worth it.

Why? That makes no sense.
It might make some sense for Ford to keep the production line moving along and producing new cars. setting up a system to efficiently finish incomplete cars is going to take a little time. My guess is they'll complete them during model year change over which usually shuts down full plant operation for a bit. It sucks but Probably more efficient for Ford this way. I just wish they'd tell us what they're doing but that's not going to happen. I moved on.

I ordered my Badlands with B/L package April 13 2021 and it finally arrived at the dealer today. Was starting to get worried because my tracking info showed Built July 25 and shipped with delivery August 18-24. On the 25th it went back to "built" status. Dealer was nice enough to send me a picture as soon as it was off the truck.

Ordered On 4/13/2021
Order Number 9171
