Mine was/is the other way for three tanks now so data is not solid yet.
Manual mpg calculation is higher that the on board dash/computer.
Hmmm. That's not what your original post states:

Most all of us old farts found that dashboard mpg’s were one number and when we actually calculate it we get a lower number, like 1.5-2.0 mpg’s lower than the dash sez.

Something has changed with mine since my 25,000 service.

Dash now says I’m averaging 26.5 mpg and manual calculation shows 25-25.5….
According to your original post, your current manual measurement is still lower than computer indicated. That's why I'm confused...

Ok I screwed that up, reversed it, thanks for telling me. I’ll fix that post.
Only thing I can think of that would cause a manual mpg calculation to go up like that is the cooler heavier or denser air. We are hitting low 40’s in the AM and highs under 80
And maybe the computer needs to catch up ?

2023 BS Big Bend, 3200 miles so far. 30.33 mpg average, 28.01 mpg lowest, 33.61 mpg best. All figures are calculated, not the dash display numbers. Dash display numbers are usually show 2-3 miles better than actual. 75% highway, 25% city. VA, MD, PA and WV
