I have a ‘22 Bronco Sport Base that is stock at the moment but was looking into putting new tires on the car. I was referred to the KO2 tires in the 245/65/r17 for both “city” and off road driving.
Is the KO2 tire the best option or is there a better option for someone like me that primarily drives “city” roads but wants the look and size of a KO2 tire?

I also have the base model.
2021, 22 months now with 27,000 miles.
I chose Yokohama Geolandars
GO15’s
They gave me what I wanted. And have a snow rating.
I did not buy for looks I bought for quietness, traction in gravel, wet roads, snow and fuel efficiency.
I also only went up in size to the
235/60R 65 because a taller heavier tire with the 1.5L will change the final roll out gear ratio.
I wanted to keep what acceleration I have and again hold my mpg’s up as I’m in the mountains and climb often.
Kinda like city driving, lots of acceleration and deceleration.
These Yoko’s are quiet and smooth.
FWIW, for me
Going from the stock 225’s to my 235’s warranted a 1 psi cold tire pressure drop.
I’ll buy these same tires again.

KO2 is not a great city option. The ride is rough, lots of tire noise, wet traction is marginal, and the heavy weight will impact fuel economy. There are also many reviews mentioning worse traction as they wear.

We've had KO2's, Hankook Dynapro AT2, and now Yokohama Geolander GO15 tires on our BS BL--both the AT2 and GO15 have been awesome.

Ford offers Falken's A/T3W in size 235/65R17 as a factory option, mainly because it performs well both on and off road. Essentially, you get a beefier tread pattern, improved off-road capability, and great on-road snow and wet performance without the noise and harsh ride normally associated with off-road oriented tires. I've been driving on mine for nearly 9,000 miles and I'm quite satisfied.

K02 on my base. They are def loud, but bought them more for the off road application. We camp off road almost every weekend and needed the traction. Great in deep snow. But yeah keep in mind, you will def hear them.

Yeah I got the Yokohama Geolander's on my Big Bend (after reading some of Osco's posts 👆)
Same engine as your base. I got the 245's which are a lot heavier than 235's but they're still really quiet. I think I lost a little bit of pep because of the weight, but haven't quantified it all. Haven't ridden in snow yet, but they're fantastic in the rain. They look great too, IMO.

The G015 Yoko’s look more aggressive than the Falken’s if that’s important to you.
Also my mountain driving means I’m always turning it seems, lots of switch backs, lots of gravel climbs.
I don’t haul azz but I’m no Granny going to Sunday meeting either,
Per my tread depth gage my Yoko’s are half gone with 15,000 miles on them.
They started with 13mm and the wear bars stand up to 2mm so I have 11 mm useable.
They are wearing evenly at 7.5
With 5.5mm to go running ONE PSI under the door data plate with me going up to 235 wides from the stock 225’s.

I do like the look of the GO15's. I was eventually thinking about putting a 1.5in lift on my car at some point. Will this effect the size I need to get or will the 245/65/r17 version of them be fine? Also how much height did it add to the car overall? I am curious about that.

245/65/17 work the same with or without a lift. The bigger tire should raise it about 1/2”.

235’s add .5 inch in width, handles slightly better. Lines up tread shoulders to rim bead a bit better.
Only I think .29 inch in height.
There are charts all over google giving the figures you need for the 245/255 etc,
