I have a Badlands with the rubber floor. It came with the carpeted mats, so I use them. When I went to clean the interior, I noticed how the mats and just general in and out foot traffic scuff up the floor. I had a Honda Element and it was much more resilient. Anyone know how to coat or prevent this? Thanks.

Try wiping it using spray-on wax. I like TurtleWax Wax & Dry.

Detailer (at least the one who works by me) won't ArmorAll or wax the wells for liability reasons (i.e., feet/mat slipping).

But yes, it seems to scuff easily. That's why I used the 42k FordPass points to buy the rubber mats (caution: Ford sells two mats for the BS. One for carpeted wells, one for the rubber wells like in the BS. I'll edit this reply when I find the PN I used).

Edit: PN for rubber wells is MP1Z7813300BA. (IIRC, the PN for carpeted wells ends with AB.)

A little spritz of spray cleaner on a rag wipes it right off on mine. No residue or waxy build up
