I am according to my About Sync . I did the download on 9/2. Can I reinstall again to be certain. I did get another pop up stating it was updated to 3.4.23188 and I did it via USB which I thought was odd. I think I accidentally turned wifi updates on
No need … bc it says u r on 23188

The Ford people you are working with will be able to solve the Nav issue

I am hoping so. They sent me a recovery file to
Put on USB( I already did it) ,I am waiting for new usb before I remove everything for the Nav it will remove Nav, voice and gracenotes. Then they are supposed to be expediting a new Nav 2 22 USB. I guess I’m going to have to go for a very long drive lol

Do you have a 2021, 2022, 2023 Bronco Sport?

Ford did have issues with Nav 2 20 for MY 2022 (I suspected some MY 2022 VINs were not in Fords database) - Ford sent me two Nav 2 20 USB sticks which got the error upon installing in my BS then I diagnosed the issue and sent that to Ford - the 3rd Nav 2 20 USB stick installed perfectly.

And I recently downloaded Nav 2 22 to a USB stick and that installed fine in my ‘22 BS.

if I had access to your USB files I could probably diagnose the problem.

I remember reading your issue . How would I get the files to you ? Screenshot the drive contents ? I will have to do that tomorrow

Files are too big to post or send. But you can do the simple checks yourself:

I am stating these steps from memory so hoping my memory is correct…

1. make a copy of the USB file “autoinstall.Ist” to some temp named file on your computer (you will delete that temporary file later)

2. Open the temp named file

3. Each line pair in that temp named file on your computer contains the name of one of the 15 files in the USB Device SyncMyRide folder

4. basically what you need to do is to make sure the 15 files in the USB Device SyncMyRide folder appear in one of the line pairs in the temp named file on your computer

Step 2 above depends on if you use a Mac or Windows

there are easy ways to do step 4 so hoping you know how to do one of the easy ways but in step 4 you are only making sure the 15 files names appear correctly in one of the line pairs in the temp named file on your computer

if you find a file name in the USB Device SyncMyRide folder that does not match the name in the temp named file on your computer then that file is the one that is not found when you do the install in your bronco sport

After your finish step 4 you can delete the temp named file you copied to your computer.
