Most of the time my BS/BL has nicely weighted steering. However, mostly at highway speed and on turns, the steering cuts out momentarily. Just a couple of seconds where there is no feeling and I can move the wheel with no response. Anyone else out there? Ford service is my next stop. :frown:

Haven’t seen anyone report that on a 2025 (or any other model year Badlands), I don’t think this is the issue but just to eliminate possibilities - try disabling both lane keeping and lane centering if either of those are enabled

I was going to suggest this also. I am not fond of lane assist. Perhaps on a long trip, maybe. Def not for city driving though.

Lane keep was my first thought. It is definately off. Hate may be too strong a word, but for that "aid" I'll make an exception. 🤬

Is lane centering also off assuming you have that feature ?

Lane centering is part of the adaptive cruise, not a separate nanny. Also off. :frown:

On my 26 it is a separate feature and I have mine permanently turned off.

Best to take your car to the dealership service, have the tech or service advisor drive your vehicle while you are in it so you can have the dealership service person see the issue

When I got my Outer Banks the tire pressure was like 45 psi. Made it handle funny. I do like the lane assist feature.
