Hello All,
I'm worried!
Here is a description:
It is very cold this morning (-25C / -13F). Bronco started like usual without problems (blockheater applied)
After parking at work for a few minutes I was going to leave again.
Started but immidiately stalled several times. Got it to keep idling by pushing gas pedal a bit, then kept running normal.
But now the engine warning light is on.
Do I need to go to the dealership or can it be a minor issue due to the cold and might go away?
(I have to make an appointment and drive 100km to dealership)

Thanks for any suggestions.
Happy New Year!

Brrrr, that's cold! Is it possible you got some water in your fuel?

Very unlikely. Its premium from the gas station I always go to. Never had a problem.
Water entering from the outside is also not possible ... there is no water anywhere at -25C.
The car is in a shelter, not a heated garage.

you could always try and unplug negative terminal on battery for a few minutes. car should do a KAM reset and clear codes. but I would first stop by an auto parts store and get that code read if you don't have an OBD2 scanner or forscan available. take a picture of what code is. that will tell you something, then see if it happens again.

Definitely get the code read. Given the weather conditions, it seems very likely this is related to temperature. Fuel delivery on cold starts is based on outside air temp. It's possible your temp sensor is reading incorrectly, which could affect fuel delivery and generate a DTC. You might find some clues in this article:

I did get a scan in town (free) ... just to show to the dealership and make sure it's save to drive.
"Scanned for codes. Found ... blah blah ... Fuel Pump Module A Control Open Circuit"
Since then the engine light is gone and did not return, Broncito runs and starts normal.
Regardless, I have an appointment at Ford and have it checked ... warrantee anyways.
Thanks All, for your replies.
