What exactly is the function?
It will reduce the number of bugs (and other small airborne items) that hit your windshield.

It also protects the leading edge of the hood from pits in the paint from sand/gravel.

They use a double-sided tape.

The surface needs to be washed and dried, and then wiped down w/the included isopropyl alcohol pads.

Keep the piece in the sun for it to warm up before install.

Then installed during a good warm and sunny day. At least in the 60's I would say.

I've heard not to drive vehicle for at least 24 hours.

Don't wash vehicle for a few days at the very least.

Later should you wish to remove, I would imagine a good heat gun would help.

Thanks. We are probably going to have PPF installed so I don’t think this will work with that. Last one I put on a Subaru attached below the hood and didn’t really touch the paint.

When I installed mine yesterday, after prepping the surface and peeling the tape....once that 3m tape just barley touches the car....it aint comin back off....so get it right the first time.

And Car Wash.....my car wash is the longest tunnel in NC with 8 side brushes and 2 separate over head brushes that turn in different directions....... Took her thru 18 hours after install....no issues. I doubt you could remove it without damaging the hood....its on that tight!

Easily removed by using dental floss or fishing line. Then cleanup with Goo Gone.
