Bought this foldable rack at tdot performance in April. (Was 450 cad$ at the time). Bought it mainly for the 2 kid's strollers because when I put a stroller in the trunk I have no room left for anything else. Work well so far. The curved sides are holding with 2 small screws so they are mostly aesthetic and can't be folded like everything else so I might remove them.

I'm not sure this is new info, but I'll share mine:

I have invested in multiple Thule carriers over time, so I went with Thule again for this vehicle so I can continue to use them:

• Thule Wingbar Evo 135 (53") Black; I have the bars 30" apart. This allows the back hatch to open entirely with the roof box on.
• Thule Rapid 450R Rapid Crossroad <-- I feel these cause some road noise; it isn't terrible but it is the most noticeable noise I've had from Thule stuff on a vehicle. I don't think it is the bars as I've had the same bar type on other vehicles with different footpacks and there was pretty much no noise. I may occasionally check to see if there is a different option for my Wingbars and the Bronco Sport from Thule. These footpacks have a rubber strap that essentially wraps around and tightens on the roof side rails.

In the picture I have my Thule Cascade 676XT roof box on; this set up also can accommodate my Thule Hull-a-port 835 carrier for my kayak, which I did not bring on this trip.

Rack did not noticeably impact my fuel economy - in fact the trip pictured with the box I traveled through the mountains at various speeds and my MPGs were 31 headed west (253 miles) and 30 (305 miles) headed east (I did a different route that's a bit slower speed on the way home).

I did take the roof rack off the vehicle for winter to make it easier to remove snow (my knees voted to end my skiing attempts so I don't need the roof box in winter ).

Do you have a sunroof? I like how low profile your setup is, but wondering if it will clear the sunroof.

I have yet to see why these crossbars don’t fit the Badlands models.
