    Winter Tire Issue?

I have those tires in size 215/70r17 first winter with them on my badland or any other vehicle. No fishtailing yet and they feel very grippy in snow. I live in northern Canada. We normally experience a lot of snow but this year it's too warm we didn't had much yet. One time I drove 300km in a...

    Auto Start/Stop when Parking

I put it in park after backing up my garage/driveway and its not engaging auto start/stop. I'm not letting it in reverse while I stop the engine. I didn't noticed it before when it was still warm outside though. Maybe the cold temperature we have here desactivated it anyway.

    Auto Start/Stop when Parking

Park in reverse. Auto start/stop wont activate when coming to a stop in reverse. It is also safer.

Let's see those Fall Foliage pictures

I just finished to build my jeep Cherokee that I always wanted to do since I had it(7 years). I called a friend to drive it and follow me in a muddy trail so he can unstuck me in my bronco if needed. It was my first real offroad test with the badland. We bring our daughters and passed on a...

    Help Me Choose Winter Rims

I bought blizzak dmv2's too and installed them on my stock badland wheels. I bought black wheel for summer with toyo at3's. Didn't tried the blizzak yet but they make them in 215/70/17 which is narrower and better in snow.

    Tire Recommendations

I highly recommend the toyo's almost 0% noticeable noise on pavement and a ton of grip offroad. Deep mud is their weekness I think. (See picture)They roll on gravel road like it is pavement. They don't weight much too. the Falken at3w that I have on my jeep are superior in mud. the tread are...

Whats the best Tire traction boards and shovel?

I had the chance to test my homemade traction board today(first time testing any traction board at all). I was stuck in the mud and I though it was the perfect time to test it. I had other options like a rope and a jeep ahead of me but I wanted to test it. My badland was moving a couple of inch...

    Show off your Roof Rack

Bought this foldable rack at tdot performance in April. (Was 450 cad$ at the time). Bought it mainly for the 2 kid's strollers because when I put a stroller in the trunk I have no room left for anything else. Work well so far. The curved sides are holding with 2 small screws so they are mostly...

    Front receptor hitch

I searched the internet and can't find any front receiver. I'm interested to buy one too, to install my snow plow I have on my old Jeep Cherokee. When my jeep will retire I would like to install it on my bs.

Anyone tried 215/70r17 tires for winter?

Hi I'm shopping for winter tires for my badland and since it's a family car that me and my girlfriend drives with 2 kids in the back we want really good winter tires. I like the Bridgestone blizzak dm-v2 and they make them in 215/70r17. It's common to hear that narrower tires is better in ice...

Whats the best Tire traction boards and shovel?

I did my own traction boards. Cost me about 65$CAD and I have another 4 feet 2x8 remaining (all they had at the hardware store in 2x8 was treated 12 feet that cost 23,99) that I'll keep as a spare or do a light version to carry around during winter. Not as shiny as maxtrax but I saved 435$...

FordPass is watching you! Reporting your speed, G-forces, etc.

I didn't read all the comments but I suggest to anybody who's interested about cars technology and personal data to read a book written by Matthew B. Crawford, called why we drive. Have a good day.

Whats the best Tire traction boards and shovel?

I was shopping for traction boards too and found out that only maxsa innovation and maxtrax is worth considering. But here in Canada it is 300$ for maxsa an 500$ for maxtrax this is insane. Since I don't plan to strap them to my bs to show people that I have shiny traction boards. I decided to...
