I'm going to be in the Helen Georgia area at the start of October and wanted to get some suggestions.

My party in interested in doing some easy and scenic drives through the forest and mountains, I'm done some research via Google and have FSR 44 earmarked, but was curious if any of y'all have experience or knowledge of the area.

While me way have multiple vehicles, I believe my Badlands will be the only thing not FWD so, dirt, gravel and pitted is fine, we just want to get off paved roads and see the falls and forests

If you’re coming from ATL, this route. I FSR 44 you were referring to looks more north though. Family went out last year to Helen. Some offshoots and variants through don carter, reserve area and Yonah mountain which is very pretty. Enjoy!

I spent quite a bit of time in the Chattanooga Area. Tellico Plains/Cherohala Skyway is always a blast. If you go back by Bald River Falls there are a lot of trails.
