Welcome to the party. No Katskins here, but I hear they are the best as far as covers go. I prefer the cloth, but it seems I’m in the minority.
The cloth is very nice actually. I could live with it. Upgrading to leather isn’t at the top of my priority list, but it is something I’m thinking about.

Well... Howdy!
Just got one of these baby broncos as a replacement, fair weather grocery getter;

First purchase (glass breaker seat belt cutter; Once I figured out that the windows don't seem to roll down if the engine stops). Mounted it inside the console with 3M VHB tape.

Then I got a fire extinguisher (white to match the vehicle). There doesn't seem to be a really good place to mount the fire extinguisher (no roll bar/I'll figure something out).

... folded the back seats down and got a couple of floor mats for the front....Weathertech.

Used some rubber mats out of the Ol' 2 door Explorer for the cargo area in back.

... since it is a street 4wd vehicle the stock street tread tires will, probably work; for a while (until the bank account recovers).

As time goes on I will raid the left over Jeep stuff for things like snatch straps etc.
I have some leftover ARB air lockers but probably nothing that will fit this barbie vehicle...

Enjoy!

The windows should be able to be rolled down once the engine stops for quite a while (about ten minutes, that’s the delay on accessory power). Are you opening a door first? Once you open a door, accessory power is cut.

I just put the glass breaker in the front seat back side pocket. There’s one on each seat facing towards the center.

I hear you, but I gave up on "should be able to's," and "4WDs don't get stuck" back in the early 1970's.

If its electrical I'm not going to take the chance of being stopped in a potential death trap, on road, in rising water.... (fresh water is'nt usually not much of a problem, for DC in any case).
I didn't have to worry about deep water in the Jeep CJ's, but this 'fly by wire actuation and computer control" has me, a bit, spooked.
I'll just keep the glass breaker handy and not worry about it.

Enjoy!

Desert Does It (online) sells a fire extinguisher mount for under the front seat. They make good quality stuff.
