I have a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands, fully loaded. Love it, great for local and long-distance driving around the US North East. Recently, I have noticed that, whether satellite or local stations saved, the 'button' selection display is another, possibly prior value, and, for the satellite stations, lacking the image of the station, until I select it each time I start the Bronco. I have to memorize my updated saves until I select them that first time. Any ideas as to how to resolve this? Thanks.

I had same issue after recall. They needed to perform another sync reset to fix.

Thanks, I will go to Ford if need be. Just a very odd behavior.

Update: And so I went to my local Ford Dealer regarding the Sync's satellite radio buttons not displaying properly or accurately until individually selected. There are two options offered by the technician - a full system reset, which is available via the menu options; or a 'soft-reset', apparently undocumented.

I have not yet attempted the full system reset as I am not sure if I would then need to work with the satellite radio company to also reset my car's access to my account (doable, just another step).

The technician showed me the soft reset, specifically, with the radio on, holding the Power and physical Forward buttons until the screen goes blank. From this, the system does a soft reboot, including reloading maps, etc. This does appear to resolve the satellite button display issue but I will track this as I do not want to do this soft reset procedure every time I start the Bronco.

Possibly the 23188 install did not fully complete even though your display indicates 23188… you could ask the dealership if Customer Satisfaction Program 24B47 applies to your VIN
