Rusty Roof

Has anyone had any issues with rust on their roof panel above the windshield? This started out as a bubble, and is now rusty. 2023 OBX, 10,500km bought in March '23

Mmmm? Not good. Looks like a manufacturing defect that Ford should warranty.

I would have ran to the dealer when seeing the bubble but I'm OCD.

It's the panel in front of the moon roof.

So it would appear that we have a Friday afternoon car. There's panels that aren't primed, like the hatch where the hinges attach, the fenders have paint starting to peel at the leading edges up by the windshield. LF headlight and fender alignment is so bad that the headlight has rubbed through the paint to bare metal, and a butt load of other spots. Oh, and the hood release cable is broken. Along with the ever present rear diff noise. Not a good sign for a car that's 7 months from production date, and 5 months in service

We had almost no snow this winter, and even less ice. It can't be called a stone chip because the whole panel from the right corner almost to the mirror is showing signs of rust. And most of the panels that have either missing paint or haven't been prepped/primered don't get exposed to road salt.

Not that it matters but out of my own curiosity, did you buy this brand new? That’s so many things gone wrong that I probably would have vowed against ford after experiencing that. I’m sorry man
