I recently left my house at 1:25am for a trip to Memphis (900 miles). About an hour into the trip I got a notification outlined in yellow. I was watching the road and didn't see what it said. About 30 minutes later it happened and again I was in a place I didn't want to look or stop. Third time...
:sunglasses: Third push goes back to normal screen. When I first bought my BS, I played with the settings a bit but grew weary quickly. There are so many different ways to configure things.
Dude! Thanks! I learned something new today. I just went out and tested it and with one push the screen shows the time and with a second push the screen goes dark. Very cool and much appreciated!
Wait! What? There is a dark screen option. On my recent trip to Memphis I tossed a t-shirt over the screen at night to eliminate the bright screen. Oh man.
After my extremely positive experience with the Odyssey Extreme battery I would tend to agree. But at least I got an EFB with mine so a slight upgrade from a standard flooded cell battery. I'll be selling mine before the warranty expires anyway so no biggie. And I always have my backup a red JNC77OR
First of all, I know you are laughing thinking" I'll get him to go to his vehicle and check" . Laugh away because of course I did. And you are correct. hahaha My badlands apparently has an Enhanced Flooded Battery, not Advanced, but Enhanced. Although some BS do come with AGM batteries. Me...
Whenever I see battery posts I like to give my opinion about these "computers on wheels " we drive. First thing though, if yours is a 2023. I'm pretty sure it came from the factory with an AGM battery. My first AGM battery (Odyssey Extreme) lasted 7 years of daily driving. I finally killed it...
Very few people sell or trade in "good reliable" vehicles. Yes I know there are exceptions to this. I would not buy one of these computers on wheels unless I buy it new. I have said it before in this forum, I will be either selling mine or trading it in before the manufacturers warranty period ends.
I agree with you on the quality. It's almost like the way they make cell phones now. They aren't made to last more than a year or two. Funny but I was hoping for a Land Cruiser also, and then I read first year availability in the US will be limited to 5000 units, Good luck grabbing one and even...
I will not keep ANY modern vehicle past the manufacturers warranty period. I had a 20 year old Corvette and I have a 21 year old Silverado, but I do not trust new vehicles to last as long. The amount of electronics in new vehicles is making them more and more difficult to service. I have a hard...
People will tell me to shut up and I’m wrong but I’m convinced anyone who has a sport secretly wants a full size. As a daily driver I don’t mind the sport but god I envy the people I pass driving the full size haha. She’s a beaut!! Great price to considering I paid 40k for my 22 big bend sport...
