Has anyone noticed this ? My wife said she noticed this yesterday when she saw the reflection in a Car in front of her . The other Running light stayed on , only the side that the turn signal was activated turned off .

That's normal due to US Regulation. DRL turns off so that the turn signal is visible to other drivers.

For a long time, normal US operation. Watched a YouTube vid yesterday about 2 additional purported customer complaints:
1. Whistling sound at speed coming from the hood
2. Fog lights coming on 1-at-a-time unexpectedly
Now of course, the hood thing is due to its flexibility some have already observed, and a small misalignment easily fixed at the dealership. The fog lights? NORMAL operation of their cornering light function!

In Canada, I have noticed that the DRL dims (50% light but not off) on the side of the indicator to a lower setting as to not wash out the turn signal which is obviously different than the USA version where the DRL goes completely off. I had always noticed, particularly with Chrysler/Jeep products that the entire headlight goes out when the indicator is on which I though was incredibly odd.
