Hello all! I wanted to make sure to spread the information regarding the fender flares from rough country. I am 100% satisfied and the quality is on par to the ones from FORD. $200 cheaper though and the fit is amazing. Took about 2 hours for the install. See attached. Next is the roof rack and then the lift kit!

Do they install with clips like the Bushwacker flares?

Yes they attached using clips. 100% identical to the one I saw at a dealership. Very snug and no complaints.

I don't hate they way they look. Is there any utility to them, or are they strictly cosmetic?

I like the fact that you can get the rivets in black instead of chrome. Next on my to do list

I did too. Until I got the actual kit. They sent both chrome and black rivets since I got the black rivets set but the black ones are plastic clips that look cheesey so I went with the chrome lol

Looks great - Have to convince my wife she likes them, too. Must be some utility in the extra width for protecting from thrown stones or mud.

I’m not big on aftermarket parts 🤷‍♂️
Those flares look 👍
I think it’s the tire wheel package that makes them stand out

Maybe not purely cosmetic. I've got the Air Design flares on my Big Bend. They're battered with little scrapes from road debris and rocks. Definitely doing a great job protecting the paint underneath.

I have the flares from Ford and I will have to take them off for the winter because the flares on the rear doors are not that tight of a fit and will fill up with sand and salt. Do the ones from Rough Country have that problem?

Same issue. Found a solution I feel works well and doesn't look like I butchered it. See attached. I inserted a sliced fuel hose in my door gaps that were causing issues when the flares flexed from driving in high winds. With the hose it won't allow it to flex which is causing it to be loose. Taken it up to 80 mph now with no flexing.
