Yes, it is! Honestly, I'm calling my salesman tomorrow to find out what's going on!! If it's coming from Mexico, I can believe it taking close to a month from the time it shipped, but these recent dates make it only two weeks! I'll update tomorrow what i find out! That's quite from the 2nd week of February you were anticipating!
So, I called my salesman this morning and had him ping my vehicle. Unfortunately, that Ford update site is wrong!! It's still about 2 weeks away, which means the original delivery dates are still accurate, between Feb 2-7. So a lesson learned, don't always trust that Ford update site, call your salesman for updates!!Yes, it is! Honestly, I'm calling my salesman tomorrow to find out what's going on!! That's exciting!!Bummer. Thanks for the update. Still hoping to get my Badlands later this week. Just needs to be trucked from the local rail yard to the dealer according to my sales person.
Were you able to track it via the rail car number? So, I called my salesman this morning and had him ping my vehicle. Unfortunately, that Ford update site is wrong!! Actually, I called my salesman and he was able to ping the vehicle and he told me it was in Topeka Kansas, from there it will go to St Louis then Kansas City, when my vehicle will be loaded onto the vehicle transport truck which will head to my dealer that is only about 3 hours away! I still will try to find out the rail car # so I can find out exactly where it is!Were you able to track it via the rail car number?
That’s interesting. I thought mine went from Topeka to KC then to Omaha. Not sure why they would bypass KC to go to St. Louis, then back to KC. I know my full size went southeast from Detroit only to come back thru Chicago then to St. Louis, to KC then to Omaha.Actually, I called my salesman and he was able to ping the vehicle and he told me it was in Topeka Kansas, from there it will go to St Louis then Kansas City, when my vehicle will be loaded onto the vehicle transport truck which will head to my dealer that is only about 3 hours away! I think your sales person is confused. KC is not a unloading ramo zone for Ford which makes sense since they have a manufacturing site there so only loading takes place. I’m guessing yours will be dropped off in Omaha. Wow!! Ya, I wish mine did that, then it would be here sooner!! Also, I did call Ford CS and asked them about the rail car #. She couldn't find it on her end and gave me a couple of #s that may be able to find it. One number said it was close for the day, and the other didn't have an option to find out. Thanks for that guide! I'm realizing that I didn't make it clear, mine apparently is going from Topeka, to St Louis MO to Kanas City MO where it gets on the delivery truck to my dealership in Plattsmouth NE. I saw on the guide it does show unload at the Kansas City MO location. Looking at my last post I see I didn't mention Missouri, sorry for the confusion!I think your sales person is confused. So, my geography is terrible! I've been looking up Missouri with cities. St Louis is on the west end of the state and Kansa City MO is on the opposite end, and closer to where the carrier truck would take my vehicle. But who knows! The tracker website sucks as it doesn't always show the correct delivery date as it's saying mine should have been here today!! For future people looking at the tracking site and see a delivery, don't hold your breath!!Ok, that somewhat makes sense except going past KC to STL only to backtrack. But, it could be the case. UP does go to STL but then no further East.
Awesome, how exciting!!My Badlands was at the rail yard for about 5 days but was finally delivered to the dealer today. Going to pick it up tomorrow,
