public service post…
The attached pics and description of the issue with a solution is posted on Facebook group: “2021+ Ford Bronco Sport Owners”. Cross-posting here as FYI

Description of issue: stiff brake pedal (applying brakes take alot of effort to stop)

Possible solution: this line cannot handle the vacuum and splits causing a vacuum leak (see pics)

Note: this issue and solution might not apply to all Bronco Sport models depending on their brake system configuration

(If this topic is already posted on this Forum please let me know and I’ll remove it, I did a search but since “brake” is often misspelled I could have missed seeing the topic if already posted)

Funny because I feel the brake pedal is the exact opposite. It's very twitchy and doesn't require a lot of travel to stop. I find myself getting slight whiplash because they grab so hard at low speeds. Like if I'm pulling into the driveway for example.

Sounds like a different “issue”. I recall having that “twitchy experience as you stated” on my 2022 but after a few days I got used to the braking.

This could be a serious issue. I'd think Ford would issue a silent recall if this is known.

Yes, that is another unwanted problem. If it is split and there is no vacum your brakes will take more effort to stop which is a big surprise if it happens all at once. Another over-priced dealer item that is sure to be out of stock like everything else. Good to know about it, should be a warranty item for yours. Good luck.
