Photo Dump - Atlas Blue vs. Velocity Blue

Saw an Atlas Blue Explorer ST on a lot the other day and compared it to my Velocity Blue BB.

Definitely a much darker color. Still not a huge fan, honestly. I hope Ford brings VB or a similar Blue back in the future. At least now they have Eruption Green is an option.

Agreed. The Atlas is nice, but it doesn’t Pop and turn heads like the Velocity.

[ATLAS BLUE BADLANDS]

Nice comparison in this older thread thanks. The 2024 Subaru Outback has a nice bright Geyser Blue we really liked, but available only in the Wilderness package.

These bright blues plus black roof remind us of the Laser Blue Metallic with black roof 2010 Mini Cooper we bought new and really liked the bright color. To be reborn again a shade one way or the other in the soon to arrive 2024 Badlands in Atlas blue with back top.

I prefer the brighter velocity blue over the atlas blue. I had a bright blue 2000 Ranger that was called bright Atlantic blue. To me the velocity blue reminds me of the bright blue of the 1970 & 2017 Mustang, grabber blue

2022 Velocity Blue and 2023 Atlas Blue. Both are Badlands.
Both pictures were taken in my Washington driveway. The Velo was taken in afternoon sun and the Atlas was taken in full midday sun. One of these days I’ll park my Atlas next to Dustin’s (thekingprawn) Velo and we’ll get a good shot. Right now we keep passing each other going opposite directions on the highway.
