Well…as someone who currently does NOT own a Bronco Sport I have no experience to compare the new versus the old. Which is good, as it leaves me with a completely clean slate to develop my own impressions. And I’m impressed with the refresh.

I’ve already contacted my local Ford dealer and will be visiting them on Saturday to place an order. Leaning towards an Eruption Green Badlands with the Sasquatch package, the Badlands tech package, and the moonroof. I should be able to get mid $20,000s for my Tucson, which should put a huge dent in the amount I will need to finance.

Now the only question remains…how long will I have to wait? Ugh…

Ford authority said the Sasquatch Package will not be available until Q1 2025 But I will wait. My dealer said the order banks are not open yet but I am ready to pull the trigger.

I tend to agree, if I didn’t already have a BSBL I would be very interested in the BS Sasquatch.
I have an early ’21 build loaded BSBL with all the “goodies” from the first year which have slowly been eliminated one-by-one. All I really need to do is install my lift, new tires, a front bumper bash plate, and find appropriate shocks — voila, a ’21 BSBL Sasquatch for very little money.
Fortunately, I’ve had no problems with my BS over the years and I have a Ford extended warranty so I don’t think I’m going to jump at this one — now IF the AI generated stuff was real and they hadn’t cut the power down this might be a different story . . .

Hello, Ford Motor Company.....anybody home?
There has been talk and rumors floating around for the last three years about a Bronco Sport hybrid coming on line for the 2025 MY. After the failed push by FMC and other car manufacturers to go heavy into EVs, FMC is now pushing ICE/electric hybrids over EVs. And yet, FMC still hasn't rolled out a Bronco Sport hybrid. What's that all about? You already know the US market will take the leap into hybrids so what are you waiting for?
Take the bull by the horns and just do it!

I've been purchasing and driving Ford vehicles for over 36yrs. Unless FMC truly listens to their customers regarding hybrids, I may be looking at Toyota in the future. The truth hurts, but needs to be said.

I suspect the big winner here will be the Outerbanks - these will sell like hot cakes with the Saq package....for around $40k you pretty much walk out of the door with a fully loaded BS + a nice off road package!
But it would still have the 1.5 Eco Boost in it which makes it over priced IMO. Now if it had the 2.0 Eco Boost for that price that wouldn't be so bad'

You can always buy a base BL if you really want the 2.0 - only 10% of people did. I think this new package will eat those sales up a bit..

Just watched some video on the new updates. I like it!!

new big screen is nice. Especially the dash screen. The tie down is cool on the side. The front bumper looks nice. 360 camera is great. I’m spoiled with my other ride’s camera system.

Does it have less clearance compare to previous Badlands? Most significant update is the towing capability. Not that I tow stuff, but the old limits basically rule out even most tear drop trailers. Few more hundred lbs is gonna help. Not sure if it somehow can up the roof rack dynamic carrying capacity. If it added weight the bottom… maybe it does?? That would be nice. I think it is a good update for the same platform.

I’m curious if the new shocks makes a big difference. I really expected the Sasquatch badge will get it more clearance toward 10”

Plan on getting 2025 Bronco Sport
they are now part of the off road packages - the BB gets it under the Black Diamond package - otherwise yep, can’t have it as a stand alone anymore.
I also don't see an option for moon roof! Is it under a package?

Moonroof is available. It’s a $920 stand alone option found in the Interior section of the build your own page. For some strange reason it started to display a series of letters instead of saying Power Moonroof when I last visited the page.

The acquisition fee is if you are leasing. It is a fee for processing the lease. If you are buying there is no acquisition fee and that amount should not be included in your build price. Ford website doesn't ask if you are leasing or buying so they just include it in the build price.
I didn't include the acquisition fee, Ford defaults it there. I've been on the inside of manufacturer leasing. There is no more cost associated with the aquisition of a lease than there is a retail contract. It's simply a mark-up that goes to their bottom line.

Just tried doing a build of the 25 Badlands (Not Sasquatch +$2,990) on the Ford website. The 25 is under Future vehicles. I tried to build as close to my 24 which came in at $44,900. The build for the 25 total was $43,855. The base price of the 24 was $39,995 and the 25 was $38.390. I do not have a 2025 Order Guide yet so do not know what has been de-contented or was the base price lowered with out de-contenting (hard to believe). Also the standard equipment is not listed in detail on the website to compare.
Correction: The base price of the 24 BS Badlands was $38,390 and the base price of the 25 BS Badlands increased to $39,995 but when building the 25 Badlands the final price without Sasquatch package is $1,080 lower.

Tell the dealer you don't want to put up a deposit on the order. That way if Ford can't deliver this in a timely manner, you can walk away. I've ordered over 50 new cars and I've never put up a deposit. They may squawk a bit, but they won't let you walk because of a deposit. They know someone else will buy it.
