Iv seen people that have run both the nitto ridge grappler and the falken wildpeak AT3W on Bronco Sports but not much review on them... does anyone who runs these have pros or cons to them to share (weight, MPG, acceleration with the 1.5, noise)? Looking at both of these for mine but trying to figure out which one to go with. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!

Go to the tire rack website. A lot of good info there.

If you are discussing the 235/65/17 Falken that is the OEM tire on the Badlands vs. the same size with the Nitto, I would probably go with the Nitto. The Falkens are just a SL rated tire while the Nittos are XL. More rugged. I have the Falkens on my Badlands and very happy with the tire. I don't like that is just an SL rating though. That is why their so light.

If we move up to the 245/65/17 size, then I would probably go with the Falken WildPeaks AT3.

How do you plan to use them? If you drive mainly on road the Falkens are a much better compromise; you'll get excellent road manners and decent off road capability. If you plan to rock crawl, then as @SgtT11B notes, the Nittos are more durable.

I was debating between the ridge grapplers and the wildpeak AT3s as well in the 245 65 R17 size, I went with the ridge grapplers mainly because of the weight. I liked the look of the tire better and have had some experience with them on another vehicle. I also planned on the falkens initially to try a different tire but then I found the weight. I was using discount tires site to look up specs on each tire and I found that the falkens were 6lbs heavier (give or take) per tire than the ridge grapplers, and me with the 1.5L didn’t wanna get a heavier tire than I needed to, as that motor lacks a little bit as it is in my opinion, I didn’t wanna loose too much power. Iv loved the ridge grapplers so far, haven’t done any off roading yet but have done a couple 500 mile road trips with them and they’ve been great. Hope this helps.

The Falkens are only 3lbs heavier according to TireRack in the 245/65/17 size. The Falkens has wider grooves, which means it won't fling as many rocks and I also feel are more of an AT tire. Fallen is on the left.

My neighbor recently upgraded to Nitto ridge grappler. Ordered from 4Wheelonline and got installed last week and he's very impressed so far.
