I just had the trim piece behind the rear view mirror replaced last week took several weeks to convince them it wouldn't stay locked up against the roof. Replaced under warranty.

Did you look for it behind that trim of the cargo area? Maybe it got pushed in and you just have to find it.
Yeah tried that but no luck
And in the bottom area does it look like the piece was cut out? Hard to tell but looks like jagged edges ?

Yes It kind of does. Is this not part of the stereo system I’m wondering and the previous owner made a mod of some sort that they removed upon selling the vehicle? Seems kinda far fetched but so does it missing it the first place 😂😂

The vent you posted about is not part of the factory stereo system however it is possible the previous owner hacked out the vent thinking it was part of the stereo system or to install something

If the vent is cut out like someone posted earlier then you would need to replace that entire plastic panel

Some Bronco Sports have the B&O System which has 10 speakers including a “subwoofer” .. shown in the attached pic is the location of the “subwoofer” which is below that missing vent in your pic

If you try the salvage yard route, you might have to pack a 6 pack with you. My experience is that the yard operators don't want to deal with a $2 part. It isn't worth their operator's time to pull it or their insurance to let you go do the labor. Really sad state of things to be honest. Did that a few times. Once to get a rubber seal off a door frame and another time to get a cargo light. Another time I needed a decklid a.k.a. a spare tire cover. Never did get it. They told me it's the first thing salvage guys take out and junk. One because they need to pull the spare and two because it makes a convenient creeper to lay on. I just shrugged and said "you're losing money".
