Mine usually reads 2 or 3 mpg higher than the actual calculation at fill-up. I'm not really tracking but will run the numbers every few fill-ups. I think the best I have seen, 100% highway driving at 78mph was around 26mpg actual, and that's with larger Falkon Wildpeak tires fitted. Was around 3mpg better with the stock Michelins.
That's fairly decent mpg considering tires and speed. The best range for mpg is between 45 and 60 on stock tires. After that even a good headwind will work the 1.5 more. Doing 70 on the Turnpike I might hold around 35-38 mpg, over that mpg is sub 30. Still impressive for what the BS is. It wasn't built for economy

I am an MPG geek and routinely compete with myself on squeezing more miles out of a gallon of gas. I've only had my Bronco Sport Heritage about two weeks and have hit my best average fuel economy at 37.8 mpg (see pic). The day I purchased the vehicle I was only getting between 20 and 22 mpg on the highway. Eventually an engine light came on and I thought- great, I've made the biggest purchase blunder of my life. But a tech at my local dealer (not the dealer I purchased from) found two evaporative emmission related lines that were unplugged under the hood. (See pics of tech pointing to lines he reconnected) Once he connected those lines and reset the error code messages, all was golden. The tech said the vehicle probably came off the truck that way.

By the way, if anyone is curious- I use a driving acceleration practice known as tap and coast. I very lightly and gradually apply pressure to the gas pedal. Once I hit my desired speed, I try to take advantage of the road and coast as long as I can before very lightly applying pressure to the gas pedal again. Since I commute to work a little over an hour each way, this helps me concentrate on the drive. Yeah we have crazy drivers where I live as well, but at my age I just try to stay out of their way.

Driving locally, w/my 2.0L 4 cylinder, my mileage, using the winter grade fuel, was around 17.3 mpg, where now it just shot up to around 20.3, so the summer grade fuel must be now available.
I haven't done a long trip yet w/the summer grade fuel, but I expect it to go up as well.
With the winter grade, using Chevron 91 Octane, I've gotten 28, so hopefully it now breaks 30. ?

In the next few weeks, I hope to be putting Amsoil 5W-30 Full Synthetic oil in w/my 5K mile oil change. We'll see if there's any improvement w/that.

I've been running 22-24 in my 1.5 OBX, but I took Broncosaurus Rex to the Oregon coast today for its first real road trip and it came in at 29.
