Yeah, agreed. People like different things. We aren't here to judge that.

I'm gonna look into that some more tonight/tomorrow. Gonna measure it to see how far my badge is from the molding channel. Also gonna try to find out molding dimensions. If anybody has that on hand and could post its height that would be great. After it's just reconciling the measurements I guess.
Definitely wanna see what you decide on post pics please.

I agree, I would be worried about damaging the badge when removing and getting to stick back on wherever I reapply.
What I used to pry mine up was a plastic razor blade blank. I have no idea where I got it from. Anyhow, once you get it started, it peels right up with no issue. The glue on the back is very sticky, and is easily strong enough to restick it.

Couldn't find molding specs. Saw this body kit installation video. Side molding part starts at 10:45. At 10:50 you see how installed molding will look like in relation to the sticker. I can live with that sticker almost resting on the molding look w/o relocating it.

In my case parking is kind of tight. While molding is nice to have but the immediate problem and constant occurrence is banging on the door edge. Gonna install door edge guard hopefully later today.

I think you will be fine. Sticker on one side of mine was a little lower than the other side, <1/8" overlap on sticker which to me looked fine. You have a little wiggle room to adjust the vertical placement - I use a piece of cardboard to set the bottom of the molding at the same position front to back, resting it on the top of the rocker molding. All you want to do is get a roughly parallel to rocker molding. In video I would agree with it except the first part where they show using the template. Really clumsy, so what I did was start at the door edge to get the horizontal position and then use blue tape to hold the molding in place while I checked the vertical position. Then like video shows put a few pieces of blue tape at spots to remind you of positioning when to apply with glue. Since you want to use door edging as well this lets you position the side molding to leave you space for door edge. The directions will leave you less than 1/8" on the door edge which is probably not enough for that trim, but as with vertical positioning you have some wiggle room. Mock it it with blue tape before using adhesive so you see the issues.

Here's a link with picture of my install. I added pinstripe to make side molding a little less bulky looking, but you can see in picture what I mean about door edge trim. If you wade through search on this forum lots of discussion on this side trim.
