Memory seat preset and keyfob setup issue

I have the easy exit feature turned off as it did nothing for me since I already had the seat all the way back. Interesting that it doesn't seem to work all the time for you all. Frustrating I bet though.



I also wish you could use them. I mean I can manually move the seat with the controls, so it isn't the fact that moving the seat is not allowed. Must be some other reasoning for it.

the only real frustrating thing is that you have to come to a stop and put it in park to hit the button to get it back where you want it. I am not sure why it is locked out when in gear, my truck is a 2014 so it is a bit older but has more bells and whistles than my outter banks and you can hit the buttons and change the seat position on it while your going down the highway. I wonder if it is somthing you could enable with forscan.

I have run into a strange issue that I wonder if any other 2025 Badlands owners have encountered. Heck any owners with memory seats!

I just found this site by searching this exact problem. I have a 2025 Outer Banks. I experienced the exact same issue. With engine either on or off, holding the memory button will only ever beep once. I thought maybe the feature was reserved for the Badlands or something, but I guess not. I think they screwed up the implementation.

One possible reason that the presets won't work when you are driving is that the two drivers (husband and wife?) may be very different sizes and so have them set up very differently. If my wife were to push my preset by mistake then she wouldn't be able to reach the pedals or steering wheel. If were to push her button (so to speak) then I would be crushed against the wheel. Neither of those scenarios would be particularly safe whilst driving.

they work in my truck, maybe there was a safety thing after 2015 that took it away as a feature. I have three different settings in the truck and I can switch between them all while going down the highway. I just found it funny I couldn't do it in the bronco.
