Stopped at a light the other day and my car suddenly lost power. Lights flashed for about 10 minutes. Different things like radio screen, lights inside car flashed while clicking noises came from the engine. This lasted for a few minutes. Car went into power saving mode. Once all stopped, it looked as though things tunred to normal, I tried starting it just went black again and started power saving mode.
I waited 10 minutes then jumped started it and it started right up with everything functioning properly.

Ran fine for a few days. Tried tio start it on my driveway, did the sme thing. This time I waited 10 minutes and did nothing. It started right up.

Anyone else have this problem? Trying to get a handle on it before I bring it in to dealer, so they don't try to tell me there are 10 things wrong with it when it might be a minor fixe. I am past my warranty.

Did you have recall 24S24 done? It corrects a situation where the battery management isn't charging the battery as needed and a very low battery condition can result.

Battery isn't low.
You’ll find many owners stating the same yet replacing the battery and getting 24S24 completed solved similar issues to what you posted but to know for sure any Ford dealership can perform a full LOAD TEST on the battery because just measuring battery voltage is not a positive indicator of battery health.

Good morning, if send us a message with your VIN and mileage I would be happy to take a further look into your power concerns.

I had a dead no start issue a few days ago, once started it had every code possible, the issue with mine was a bad ground, I would check the ground cable post near the battery / fender, that's what my issue was, tightened it up it's been fine since.
Everything I have read can cause allsorts of issues with bad grounds.

Most auto part stores will load test your battery for free. A bad battery will charge up quickly and discharge just as fast. Reading voltage can be misleading.

Finally got my Bronco in the get checked for the losing power when stopping with auto start stop. Dealer had my car since last Wednesday after I had to have it towed there. Yesterday they called me and said the electrical problem is just a bad cell in the battery. Said I needed a new battery.

But then said that I needed a new water pump and that coolant is leaking from bad water pump. My car has never been low on coolant. My car has been serviced many times but never has anyone said that I have coolant leaking. So the man in the service center quotes me 2470 to change out the water pump and flush the coolant.

I told the man, I needed to think about it. Called my mechanic friend and he said that he could do it for under 1000. I told the service rep that I wanted them to put the battery in but I would be taking the car to my mechanic. He gave me a song and dance but eventually hung up. Called me back in 5 minutes to tell me that his boss approved his employee discount the do and the new price would be $1060. I told him I would be going elsewhere.

Pretty shady. I'll let you know what my mechanic says when he's done. I know the dealership mechanics are good and know the car but this really turns me off to the dealership for service.

Pretty shady.
similar thing happened with my long time Subaru service dealership a couple years ago. a service advisor and a tech worked together to attempt a high cost scam.

I asked for documentation with pictures showing the issue which the service advisor didn’t provide so I refused service and never used the dealership again but didn’t have to report it because the advisor was soon fired.

It is best to report the experience including names of people involved but only if you have written or recorded evidence to substantiate that.
