Does anyone know if there are any kits to convert the BS FE to an actual locking differential?

Its not mechanical - its electrical. Can't convert. Well, technically you probably could, but it would cost as much as the BS to design, develop, test, and make.

Would a true locking rear be any use without a locking center? I guess the center has cooling, but still clutched.

Where do you go to buy a Bronco?
You should have ordered one by now ?‍♂?‍♂
Now you can only get one this summer from the canceled orders. There will be some at all dealers; but it will be slim pickings and they will sell fast. I have my buddy at the dealer has me on the canceled bronco list for when that happens. ?

My Bronco Sport fits my needs. If I needed more off-road capability, I'd just have bought a Wrangler. Wouldn't jump through all the hoops and drama to get a Bronco. Not saying that a Bronco might not be in my future, but not willing to buy a vehicle I haven't driven.

Yeah there's a Big Bronco in my future but not until they are least a second year run and I have choices on the dealer lot. I am not a gotta have it now person.
Patience is a virtue right !

There’s also the Cherokee trail hawk for lockers and a low range transfer case in a compact Crossover. Too much overkill for me, and I liked a lot of the other features of my BL.
