Took my Sport out today for some fun. Did great until I found someone else’s hole. Had stopped to grab a drink and didn’t realize that in the process the traction control had some back on. Had I hit that hidden hole and not had trac control pull back on the throttle I would have been golden. Definitely a fun day regardless… fully high centered on a 2 inch lift, 31’s and full skids. The only downfall of a Sport but in all the trips I’ve ever taken it’s the first time it’s ever gotten stuck so I can be mad.

Exactly! It’s a great vehicle. Now, if only it had longer legs and lower gearing for going off road.

What tires did you go with RedBucky2022?

I wish all of those GOAT and other controls were on the dash instead of the console. When I travel, I always have stuff on top of that area. Yesterday my dog hit the button that stops the vehicle until you hit the gas. I've also had her hit the 4WD button.

My Badlands has taken me everywhere I've wanted to go without much issue. It is especially good going in and out of arroyos. Although, when I was changing the oil yesterday, I noticed my muffler is dented. Deep ruts with rocks on top of the center ridge. I have a cat skid and driver's side skid plate. Even with the 1-1/2" lift it is just barely high enough to clear the ridges. When these tires wear out, I'll get some 235/70R17s to gain another 1/2" or so of clearance.

I carry a Hi-Lift jack for getting out of that kind of stuck.

So I was running a 245/65/17 BFG KO2 for the first 37 k miles. I just switched to an off-brand tire called a Prinx Hi-Country HA2 in 245/70/17 . I normally a huge believer in name brand tires and they have been fantastic in all categories I couldn't beat the bite of the KO2's when I was in the mountains of Tennessee and tolerated the noise because of it. Now they I am back in Florida the Prinx tires are a much better fit for the driving and wheeling I do.
