Got a social media rep from FoMoCo to respond to a DM I sent on Twitter last night. Relayed all the concerns, don’t think she’ll have any new information unless she is a real go getter who likes to resolve customers’ problems, but I will let you know if she has anything enlightening to share.

So, I got this from my dealer this morning after asking for update. I feel they have no clue…..

Hello Holli, I was able to check again. It still had the ETA of August 1st. With it being so close it could show up any day now.

I think my eyes just rolled out of my head.

I'm "in production" as of 7/7. no changed on tracker. Called customer service and was told "it shows as built..." but no changes. Customer service said i should have it week of aug 7- 13.
Badlands, tow, sunroof, premium package. I ordered 3/23/2022. I was hoping to get it while it was still summer so I could unload my convertible at a great price.

im number 1343/2332 on the window sticker.

If it makes you feel any better at all, you ordered a full five months after me and may still get yours before I do.

Twitter response (you’ll be shocked at the originality of the wording), followed by mine (I can’t help being snarky at this point).

I mean, I don’t discount anyone frustration at the way this process unfolds but there are people in this forum with outsized (to me) reactions who’ve only been waiting 2-3 months. I’m at 8 and a half months and still no actual date on delivery. ?

Is yours built? If it is I would start blowing up the phone lines. It has become my current mission to get this figured out. There is absolutely no reason someone can’t communicate with the Hermosillo plant, someone who can actually put eyes on a vehicle and/or explain where the production problems occurred/are occurring. They will get tired of hearing from us if we all push back on their non-answers when we call. I threw “Alan from marketing” for a loop yesterday when I didn’t accept his scripted platitudes.

Yes, I received notice that it was built on 6/25 and an email showing that it was shipped on 6/29. I was able to get rail car information and tracked it through Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and finally to Florida as of Monday, July 18th. It has approximately 170 miles to go from that last rail stop which I’ve been told is averaging about 20 days…

What canned answers. Haha. You think they would update their index cards once in a while. Love your response!

That is absolutely ridiculous, but glad it’s on its way. On another more selfish note, what rail carrier was it?

CSX the whole way. Or at least that’s who I was calling to track it the entire time.

Oh wow! You are so close now. 8 months of patient waiting….

I think the frustration here is the inconsistency of the info. And the total strange location info from some car GPS data.

I have another car ordered that I think it will be 2 yrs before I see it.

@Jenbeth , I think most people we can talk to has no means of direct contact to the factory. Based on watching Tim Bartz Long MacArthur YouTube show, I think the words needs to get thru the dealer to the kids Brand Manager at least. Maybe we can ask Tim on tonight’s show to see if they have cars ordered and built in first week of July and are also in the twilight zone

I’m leaving for a work conference this afternoon, are you able to ask that question tonight @WildFord ?
