Is this noise normal

Whenever I turn off my Bronco Sport Badlands, there is this "clanking" noise that sounds like it is coming from underneath the front driver's side. This may be normal, but any opinions are welcome

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure thats the parking brake engaging. You'll basically hear it in reverse when you turn the car on too.

Same noise I hear as well every time I park the Bronco and get out. Not really what I want to here but since its done it every time since new I figure its what it does. '22 Badlands.

I've had 2 Badlands and they both made this noise. Makes similar crazy noises on start up. Sounds like gears clicking into place or something.

Mine makes that noise too, when I heard it I freaked and took it in to my service dept. They had a special tech listen to it and they said that yes, it's normal.

There are so many new government mandated gizmos now, and quieter engines. I’m pretty sure we are hearing just new gadgets and/or things engine noise used to cover up.
