Maybe, The guys at Tire Discount are professional, they will try different size tires on your vehicle and allow you yourself to make a decision on the fit . They will not let you make an unsafe decision if they fill that is the case . This has been my personal experience with the manager of Tire Discount.This much I do know, the first edition badlands does come from factory with a lift , maybe a 1 inch or or 1 1/4 .

I would expect Ford to drop an option package to compete with the Subaru Wilderness models. They've been a runaway success for Subaru and every other automaker is rushing to get their macho off road trim into production.

Ford already set the standard for this with the Bronco Sport & particularly the badlands model. Subaru’s wilderness & others are the answer to catch up to what Ford had already done. Not that they won’t try to further the model in some way more.

With the Soob Outback WIlderness ground clearance at 9.5 inches, and the Forester WIlderness at 9.2 inches, I'm wondering if Ford will play the game of one-upmanship on the BS Badlands, or leave well enough alone and continue to let the after market deal with it.

On the Badlands, 8.6", beating it's Subaru competitor by 0.1" back in 2021. The other BS models, BB and OB ground clearance in 7.8".

I won't venture a guess as how high one can lift a BS. There are several companies making lift kits for the BS, with different kits for the Badlands, Heritage Limited, First Edition vs the other models due to the different suspensions.
There are a couple of 1". 1.5", 2" lift kits and at least one 2.5" lift kit on the market.
