Im itching to try one of those 7 pin Maverick harnesses
I know the BS only has a 4-pin because of the tow rating, but it’s hard to find any trailer—even within the BS’s tow limits—that doesn’t come with 7-pin connectors standard.

With the tow 2700lb rating I would want electric trailer brakes for sure. I have towed a utility trailer and I was quite impressed how well it went compared to my crv.
I forgot one of the main reasons for getting a new vehicle when I test drove my BL, I had great plans for trailer camping but it all went out the window on that first test drive. Now Im thinking about off roading adventures lol even though I know this isnt the vehicle to get too carried away in.
Hopefully a 7 pin wont be too difficult and can be done in a professional manner.

Thanks, there sure is a lot to think about.
I had been looking at some wireless brake controllers before. I hoped to checkout some prospective trailers this spring but work is getting busy and family obligations as well.
This might be my last year of full time work and maybe by October I will make the change then it will be look out next year lol.
