I wonder if Ford will buy the crashed cars back to salvage parts for production delays. Get those display driver chips Ford!

Latest from IIHS

Thanks for contacting the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. We tested the 2021 Bronco Sport last month. It usually takes another six to eight weeks before the results will be released. Please continue to monitor our website for updates.

Wonder when the window stickers will start updating with the crash test ratings, and when the insurance companies will catch on and start throwing out better rates based on the vehicle now. Hopefully soon.

That would assume that IIHS bought the Sports rather than Ford submitting them for testing.
They usually are rendered environmentally safe and crushed.
Chips are one thing but how many new Sport owners would like knowing their ride has recycled parts. Just saying.

In the IIHS scenario, I saw something in the FAQ's the vehicles are bought independently from a dealers stock.

I would like the air conditioner compressor. Mine vehicle is in the body shop and the only part missing is the a/c compressor gonna be a few more weeks till they get it in.
