Hey guys, I am thinking about buying the 1.5 inch lift kit from rough country and right now I know that the biggest tires you can have is 245. If you add that 1.5 inches how big of a tire do you think I could fit with minimal rubbing?

a 245 will rub without a lift. It’s not possible for it to fit properly without a lift.

also don't get the rough country lift. It will break. My sway bar end link brackets snapped on one side and severely bent on the other side, not to mention the blot quality is crap and it makes your vehicle ride like shit. It’s only worth it if you need the extra clearance.

No lift will help with tire clearance because the limiting factor is the body pinch wild flange rearward of the front tires. Sounds like more than a few people have been able to up the section size to 245 without issues, but I'd be really hesitant to go beyond that.

Yes 100% if you read feedback from here it’s nothing but problems. I had to go back to the factory Ford sway bar end links.

4wheelparts has a 1 inch lift level and Robby Woolworth has a 2 inch lift. I haven’t used them but I would definitely recommend them over the rough country lift kit

Hey Guys,
To the two guys that have the 245/65r17 tires on their Broncos with no rubbing. What model Broncos do you have. I know the Outer Banks comes stock with an extra 1" lift already from the factory. I have a Big Bend and was hoping to go with either the Falken Wildpeaks 245/65r17 or BFG K02s. Let me know what you think. Thanks,
