I’ll save you guys from the details but I ruined the plastic grommet/plug in the firewall behind/below the battery or above the brake pedal if your in the cabin. If anyone here could tell me the part number I would be forever grateful. All I have left is “13K732-AB” and it’s not pulling up anything close to what I need.

Did you try your local Ford dealer? The parts department there should be able to look it up.

I haven’t! I really should but for whatever reason I’ve grown to dread interacting with my dealer haha. I’ll probably end up calling this week if I come up dry.

@Chiefthepup

Did you ever have time to locate the grommet you were searching for?

there is another post about the same grommet and this product was suggested (but not confirmed as far as I know) that it would do the job:

MSIZOY Engine Compartment Plug... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ5C992X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/auxbeam-mount-location.13331/post-231977
I didn’t! I went to the dealership and searched with the parts guy for probably 30 minutes and found absolutely nothing. He basically said he thinks that grommet comes with the firewall as a whole hence why it’s not found individually. How true that is I’m not sure but he said aftermarket is my best bet. In the meantime I just put like 4 layers of flex seal tape from the inside lol.

All 3 are of different sizes…

the diagram for the 2 Ford plugs don’t appear to be for the firewall behind the battery.

Ford Part #: W702807S300
Plug
19.5mm (0.77) X 24.5mm (0.97”)

Ford Part #: W719368S300
Extension Plug - Left, Right, Inner
12x18x0.65

Amazon:
MSIZOY Engine Compartment Plug
48mm (1.9") X 63mm (2.5") X 32mm (1.3")

Please ignore the hole. Lapse in judgement. I was gonna fit a bunch of wires through and immediately regretted it lol.

Basically you are saying none of the 3 listed in post #7 and #6 are the right size plug correct?
I believe that’s correct. According to my measurements it doesn’t look like it. Roughly 2” x 3 1/4”

But why the disparity in the grommets material? Other owners stated the grommet is soft rubber and easily cut. I believe you said yours is hard plastic. Assuming that everyone is talking about the same grommet located on the firewall behind the 12V battery.
Yep I’m a dumbass. Idk why my brain remembered it as hard plastic. The cross sections are definitely tough rubber material but yeah definitely not hard plastic that’s my mistake. As you can tell by the size/condition of the hole I’m not the smartest man alive hahah

I’m, too, not the smartest and I’m sorta’ lazy . . . Think I might put a piece of black Flex Tape on the front, and some Flex Paste on the back, let it set up and reinstall.
Ford does have a habit of not making replacement rubber parts available except as part of an entire body assembly as I found out once with an Edge.

That’s not what I meant .. just was curious about the grommet material but thanks for confirming it’s not hard plastic

it’s difficult to find replacement grommets in the right size .. probably the only way is at at salvage yard for that specific grommet

According to ford's parts site, that part number translates to JX6Z-10A862-A which, for the bronco sport only lists 2025. Odd.

Location for this one is in the floorboard.

Here's an alternate spot to get it:

You’re a legend. I couldn’t find anything with that original part number and didn’t realize part numbers can be associated to other part #’s.
I ended up purchasing the one I found on eBay it’ll probably get here in a few months ?

Alright. Final update on this infamous part number. Got the package after ordering on eBay. Shipped from Germany. Couldn’t find it anywhere in the US but also didn’t go to my dealerships parts department with specific part number. So maybe it is available.

She fits. Here is part number on “plug”
