New owner of a 2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend. Bought off the lot. Came with a couple of good options including 18" wheels, tow package. Among other things the practical side of me likes the good gas mileage. I did look at the full size Bronco both a two door and four door. I thought the two door was too small and the four door a bit too large for my needs. The Sport fits right in the middle. Now if Ford would just make a manual transmission version of the Sport....!

Big Bend, Badlands, both start with B. Unless they make a special version for Canada, it’s a Big Bend. No optional 18 inch wheels for the Badlands. Not to say Ford couldn’t mess up and put on the wrong badge too.

It's a Big Bend. In a couple of weeks I'll be putting on winter tires with 17" steel rims.

I bought 17" factory alloy wheels for mine. I love the factory look in the winter. In my area I've needed the winters for the last 3 weeks.

I bought Macpek (RSSW) steelies from Cdn Tire. They did a arrive with a couple of scratches that scratched off the paint. Unsure if this will promote quicker rusting or not. Or, if perhaps I should get some black paint to cover them up. Thoughts?

It would be best to prime and paint the areas that are scratched otherwise the rust will start within days with the salt exposure.
