Front plates were perfect. They had the small white plastic squares trimmed and level.

That’s odd. Mine came with a bracket and rivets. No little white squares. That’s the way it was done in the days of metal bumpers.

They dun goofed. The bumper has molded spots where the holes/self tapping screw goes. It's hard to suggest a fix without a pic without the plate. If they straightened it and left extra holes would you be satisfied? If so, I guess do that. If not, press them for more.

I'd raise a scene with the manager at least negotiate rebate or oil changes or something...then fix it yourself. That's not a big deal mechanically speaking but 100% messed up.

I like that idea... but they would just screw that up I am afraid. It would have to be so easy I could do it.

I think a license bracket would probably hide it. The holes in most brackets have some vertical "play".

In Michigan the license plate is optional, somehow those people are still on the road.

Sorry.. I started to post that I was happy with my dealership since they are putting up the cost for the missing items on my Bronco Sport including engine cover, hood protector, and plastic cover under passenger dash.

That is a top idea. A metal file and some time with my license plate. Hmm.. Sounds like prison good times..

I am soon getting some custom plates and a custom frame in honor of my favorite TV hero. There will be an update here in a few weeks. There will be victory. A frame with a vertical slot would be nice.
