Has the Wi-Fi hotspot been eliminated from all models going forward?

@jason202 … there are a few more people with 2023 Bronco Sports that also think they should have the hotspot modem but the AT&T vehicle hotspot is not working for them either. Did you ever contact the SYNC3: Connected Services Team at +1 (833) 389-0848 for a full explanation?

Sorry, but no, I never got around to it. I just assumed it wasn't present on my vehicle.

My 2023 BS BL doesn't have the wifi delete credit on the window sticker and AT&T let me activate the 3GB trial plan. I haven't had the chance to actually test if it works, will report back when I do.

Had the window sticker credit. We had the hotspot in our 20 Escape. Used it during the free trial. But not all that much. After that expired we never saw a reason to renew it.

I just ordered a BS BB at the end of Feb.23 and the order form included a WI-FI delete and a $20 deduction on the price of the vehicle. So it looks like it is gone for now. I have it on my 2019 Ranger and it's nice to have when I'm out in remote country.

This wifi business is something the Ford salesperson warned us away from. Our last 3 vehicles have had this and we never used it.

Do people actually use the wifi hotspot? I just use the one on my cell phone.

I think my 2022 has the built in Wifi hardware, but I never signed up or used it. I just use a Verizon Mifi when I need Wifi in the car for my kids. These have always worked great for me.

Ordered a BS in early March 2023 and the order confirmation does have the $20 credit on the sheet -- no WiFi hotspot.

My 2019 F-350 came with that feature. I used the promo period and it was completely worthless. My kids tried to stream some video on a trip and chewed through the data in about an hour and half. Never used it again.

I think it would be a very good feature if you had a mobile office. Maybe if you were a contractor or something and needed to be able to check emails from a distance ... but, then, we all have cell phones that do that. So, to me, the WiFi hot spot is really a solution looking for a problem.
