I’ve had XM & SiriusXM radios in my cars since 2002. I’m a musician who bores too easily and need waaaay more variety than terrestrial radio provides or any playlist I could conjure. Pandora’s also superb at meeting the need. So I happily pay for both. Having both in the BS, however, is a first. Still, it’s mostly satellite in the car, Pandora at home. Works for me.

I'm not a subscriber. Got an offer in the mail for a free 90 trial with an activation #.

Called to activate it. No credit card needed and will automatically expire after 90 days.

I'm not going to pay for any subscription. Not my style.

When it ends, no big deal. Got my music on a USB drive to listen to.

This offer has to be a joke from Ford. Nine days ago I received an email from SiriusXM offering me $4 per month for 1 year and I deleted it immediately. The service is complete garbage. If you happen to find a station you like get ready to hear the same songs over and over again within the same 24 hour period.

I guess I should've been more specific: Wasn't Keith Moon with The Who?
Yes. And for you youngsters that don’t know the story, a band was getting together to rival The Who. When Keith Moon, The Who’s drummer, heard who the members were going to be he said that’s too many hot heads and egos that could no way get along and it would fly like a lead balloon. By the time the story was told to the new band, it got interpreted as Keith said you’ll fly like a lead zeppelin ….. and Led Zeppelin was born.

Normally at this point I would feel bad that I hijacked a thread, but …….

Another alternative is Ford+Alexa. I have an Alexa and subscription to Amazon Music which provides almost limitless choices. Also, using Bluetooth, it's a wireless connection between phone and car.
