not bad...just curious, how long will the battery last? I didn't see that info from Amazon. I'd prefer just tap to turn on/off. 3 seconds hold to turn off seems a little long.

I like the setup you put into that storage slot under the infotainment screen.
I wanted to know how long they last too... so I charged one up and left it on continuously on white (uses all LEDs)... It lasted about 90 minutes. Good enough for me; I'll only turn 'em on when I need to see something. But, if you like to drive around with ambient lighting, these probably won't satisfy. ☹

I have a small flashlight in the console. Shouldn’t be rifling the glovebox while driving anyway. For that matter, why is it called a glove box? I keep my gloves between the console and the seat to prevent my fries from falling into the Carmuda Triangle, which isn’t even a damn triangle. 🧐

Peaty on Scoobymods forum developed a DYI light kit for the Subaru Forester. I followed his instructions and put one in my wife's old Forester. Worked well. Take a look at that and see if it can be retrofitted to the BS.
