In another thread we're discussing maximum capacity of the vehicle. I imagine it could work as a recovery board in a pinch if you have it, or give you another 2lb of capacity if not.

Read the whole thread and you'll learn that Ford removed the engine cover as a standard feature. I believe somewhere around the March-may build dates.
They really need to change this the thread name since the engine cover isn't missing if it's not supposed to be there anymore. You are confusing people who don't want to read 30 pages of BS BS when they are new here.

I am also new here. Just thought I would add that my Bronco also doesn’t have the cover. I didn’t especially want to read all 30 pages either.

And if you want one you can order it and the three studs you will need to install it from your Ford dealer. Easy install. The other 30 pages of this thread are devoted to the merits of whether one needs an engine cover or not. Bottom line, it's up to you.

I said it before, and I'll say it again- When the dealer took my order, (and my deposit), all Bronco Sports were shipping with engine covers. All of the pictures of the engine had engine covers, all of the Bronco Sports on dealers lots had engine covers. I didn't get a rebate for the "MISSING" engine cover. I did not get what was advertised, (and paid for), and you say it wasn't missing??? Good grief! This isn't hard to understand.
