Woody Ford delivered my new 23 BL yesterday. Love the Eruption green. Photos don't do it justice. Have to see it in bright sunlight to appreciate. I just logged into Ford Pass, deleted my 21 BL and added the 23. It's still shown pending. Question will this generate the points and add them to this account?

I bought my MY23 on 08-14-23. My Pass points were on my app 3 days (08-17-23) later. I actually used them on 08-17-23. Cut my Parts department bill in half.

Ford Pass points should take about 1 month to show up in your account. when you purchase your vehicle they should have gotten your email, this email is what they ink the ford pass points to. so as long as its the same email as your ford pass account you should be good. but if they do not show up in a month or two, go to your dashboard online and you can request someone to look into the discrepancy and they will fix it. I have had to go through this process twice. Each time the representatives were great to work with and very helpful.

I believe it was introduced on MY23.
Thanks!

I've always liked that color -- sometimes known as British racing green.

In our case, even if it had been available in MY22, it would not have made a difference, because we bought the BS for my wife, and she prefers the cactus grey. I like that color a lot also, but if I was buying a BS for myself I'd go with the green.

My Ford Pass activated the following day after I posted and is working. When I bought my 21 BL the points were there within a few days. I'm in no rush. I have my Ford Bronco mats from my 21 and have a cargo mat from a previous vehicle that works, although not a perfect fit. I'll probably buy one of the Ford Bronco cargo mats.

Don't think I'll put a hood cap on this time until I'm ready to sell/trade it in a couple of years. I am going to tint the front windows same as back. It was 110 yesterday and BL had sat outside a few hours. I jumped in with shorts on and almost jumped back out. Those dark seats get hot! Ventilated seats would be a good option.

I would suggest leaving the ac in the on position when you turn the truck off. Then use remote start and open the windows to blow out excessive heat. Should cool the interior at least a little and may prevent seat rash/burns to those exposed legs.

Also, you don't have to open the windows all the way. Assuming you have the option enabled in your car's settings, press the unlock button twice then hold to open all the windows. As soon as the windows start down press the unlock button again and the windows will stop where they're at instead of rolling all the way down.

I do that sometimes. Like today when I go somewhere. Had the front windows tinted yesterday and still a few bubbles, so I left the BL out in the drive to cook.

Seems to me my points showed up almost immediately after purchase. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
