FordPass Points and Coupons?

Does anyone have any advice on getting coupons to work with FordPass points?

Ford has a pretty good deal XMASJULY723 that is 25% off of some accessories I want, such as the rear cargo mat. When I go to check out, I can either apply the coupon or I can apply my FordPass points, but I cannot do both.

When I apply the FordPass points, the coupon discounts disappear in my cart. I can try to reapply the coupon, but it doesn't do anything -- no error, no discount.

Anyone have any luck applying both a coupon and using FordPass points?

You do the ford pass points FIRST. THEN, add the coupon code.

I'll answer my own question. I switched browsers and it worked.

Using Microsoft Edge, the coupon wouldn't apply. I could add points, then add the coupon, and the discount would not appear. I'd just get the standard pricing reduced by points and the coupon code was showing in my cart without application.

I switched to Chrome and it worked as expected. Entered points, added coupon, there was a fairly long pause, and then the coupon was correctly applied.

Hope that helps anyone else ... or it could have just been me.

I'm curious if this works. The last time I bought something, I forgot to apply that coupon code (IDK why they don't just do it automatically). I think I emailed or messaged them and never got a response.

One thing to note... if you buy using FordPass Points and want to return the item, you will not get the points back. You will not get the cash back either. You'll get credit towards something else. At least that's how my dealership did it. It's $59 for me right now. I need to figure out some way to use that up before the manager and I both forget about it.

Oh! Also, if you attend the Bronco Off-Roadeo, you'll get a code for 20% off accessories, it seems through the end of the year. I haven't tried it so I'm not sure if it's a one time thing or not.

One thing. You can only use a discount code once per your registered login. I bought some accessories a few months ago with a discount code listed on the website.

Last month the Carthartt seat covers I I wanted were back in stock. I tried to use the current code listed on the website and it would show the code but 0.00 discount So I called the accessories customer service and was told you can only use a discount code once, and only once per your registered user.

So I found the same exact ford P/N seat covers at afire Parts Giant for over 100 bucks less with shipping. I’ll keep using Ford Parts Giant for this stuff.

They don’t take points, but there prices are way better the Ford’s site c

That’s good to know! I still have a good amount of points and they may expire before I can use them for service so I may still use them at Ford. I just can’t decide what accessories I want.

LOL yeah. I like a lot of the stuff. But then I think is it worth it and would I use it.

I'm hoping once the MY24s come out they maybe add some new items to the site.

Edit... Interesting. On that Ford Parts Giant site, it's showing the On-Road Assistance Kit is discontinued.
