For most of my adult life I worked in Quality Contol for Bristol Myers. Our motto was " Do it right the 1st time. "

'03 Mustang conv, '24 Bronco Sport Big Bend (Spooky Too)
My 2024 BS BB is named Spooky (Too) after Mulder of X-FILES. This was the same name we picked for our 2022 BS BB which had Area51 paint. Like Mulder, I want to believe. The '22 had all the issues, plus an instrument cluster failure, that required a three week stay at the dealership, Maroone Ford (shameless plug). We were given a loaner for that. The last issue was the water pump (26k miles). Again, we were given a loaner over a weekend, sport in Friday out Monday. Also had the reprogramming 24s24 done. This Bronco Sport had the non agm battery that never failed. We've put 3k so far on the '24 and I have had zero issues with it so far. I even did a dumb thing and somehow left it in start mode (accidentally, I swear, said to my wife) it went into life preserver mode and after 7hrs it started right up! I drove it for around 10 miles, the auto start/stop would not operate so I knew the battery (agm) needed charging and shortly after the 10 mile mark it began to operate like normal. I really love my Bronco Sport(s). The dealer makes all the difference in whether your experience is positive or not. Mine is great. I wonder about the engine changes for 2025 though. A natural progression, or a conclusion that the dragon motors are irreparably flawed? I relate all this to give one owners' experience with warranty coverage through a dealer with a quality service department.

Fords tagline in the 80's thru the 90'sused to be "Quality is Job 1".
Unfortunately in a lot of ways, Ford seems to have forgotten that aspect of manufacturing.

Unfortunately in a lot of ways, Ford seems to have forgotten that aspect of manufacturing.
And in warranty servicing.
