I don't have a garage and I have yet to have an issue starting and it has been below zero on numerous occasions this year alone. If you have to put it on a charger, either the battery is not being charged sufficiently, the vehicle isn't being driven enough or the battery is toast. I also have a riding lawn mower with an old Focus battery I had that sits out during the winter months. When spring comes, then I put in on a charger for a couple of hours and at least for the past three years, it hasn't failed to start.Don't disagree. But you can put it on a charger and have a reasonable expectation the car will start, or...not.
